SUMMARY:Crowd in Motion - AI at the Austrian Innovation Forum 2026
DESCRIPTION:Austria’s best ideas take the stage – at the 16th Austrian Innovation Forum\, the leading annual forum for innovation in Austria. Over two days\, leaders\, researchers and innovators come together to question the status quo and boldly take new paths. \nRight in the middle of it on 7 October 2026: EDIH Crowd in Motion – AI\, as part of the ideas challenge “Zukunft der Innovation – Beyond Optimization”. \nFrom 10:10 to 11:00\, our workshop “CROWD IN MOTION – Wie Ideen Kraft entfalten” will take place. Reinhard Willfort\, Founder and Managing Director of isn – innovation service network and a partner in EDIH Crowd in Motion – AI\, and Christoph Schwald\, Executive Vice President Research\, Development and Innovation\, TÜV AUSTRIA HOLDING AG\, will discuss with the challenge winners how ideas turn into real innovations. \nAt 12:40\, there will also be a dedicated moment on the main stage\, where the winners of the “Zukunft der Innovation – Beyond Optimization” challenge will be presented live. The strongest ideas from the community challenge leave the digital platform and step onto the grand stage of the Austrian Innovation Forum. \n  \n“Beyond Optimization” Idea Challenge \nAs part of the challenge\, we are looking for bold\, visionary ideas – not classic process optimisation\, not yesterday’s best practice. Ideas can be submitted until 24 August 2026\, giving you the chance to take part in the workshop and secure a ticket to the Austrian Innovation Forum. The challenge is run by EDIH Crowd in Motion – AI and isn – innovation service network together with Succus Wirtschaftsforen and TÜV Austria. \n👉 Take part in the challenge now: crowdinmotion.innovation.at \n  \nThe forum takes place at the ERSTE Campus in Vienna. Registration is required and participation is subject to a fee. The Austrian Innovation Forum is organised by Succus. \nMore information about the forum: Austrian Innovation Forum 2026 \n  \nTitle image: Succus / Austrian Innovation Forum

SUMMARY:Training: AI-LABEL - What You Really Need to Label Since August 2
DESCRIPTION:Not every AI-generated text requires a label. However\, chatbots\, deepfakes\, and certain publications have been subject to specific transparency requirements since August 2\, 2026. \nIn the webinar\, participants review their own AI use cases. They use these to build a concise AI registry and create initial use-case profiles: purpose\, affected individuals and data\, expected outcome\, responsibility\, approval\, and supporting documentation. In doing so\, it becomes clear why simply listing the AI tools used is not enough. The documented use case\, its impact\, and the responsibilities within the process remain verifiable. Only then do we assign the cases to Article 50 and clarify which labeling requirements actually apply. \nWhat you will take away: \n\nYou capture real AI use cases in your own AI register\nYou create initial use-case passes instead of a mere tool list\nYou map your use cases to Article 50 and recognise what is subject to labelling\nYou distinguish between visible notices\, machine-readable markings and editorial responsibility\n\nWho is this course for? \nManaging directors\, marketing and communications managers\, event managers\, hoteliers\, association boards and web managers. No legal or technical prior knowledge required. The event will be held in German. \n  \n👉 Sign up here: Link \n  \nSpeaker: Momo Maximilian Feichtinger builds training programmes\, AI systems and agentic workflows that are used in real-world organisations with his company ZukunftBilden GmbH. Since 2025\, he has led the university course “Angewandte KI & Business Innovation” (Applied AI & Business Innovation) at Schloss Seeburg Private University. At FH Salzburg\, he teaches academic work with AI as well as AI in design and product management. For the Landesakademie Salzburg\, he trains executives in AI strategy and responsible AI use. As founder of KIRegister\, he connects the EU AI Act with usable evidence and concrete workflows. He has been part of the founding team of AI Salzburg / AI Wednesday since 2022\, which by 2026 has grown into a monthly AI meetup with more than 35 editions. \n  \nTitle image: AI-generated\, Privatuniversität Schloss Seeburg
